Joseph Broadmeadow, Managing Partner
Joseph
Broadmeadow served for 20 years with the East Providence (RI) Police Department retiring with the rank of Captain. Captain Broadmeadow served as Commander of the Investigative and Administrative Services Divisions and was responsible for managing all investigative services of the department. He was personally involved in a number of significant multi-jurisdictional investigations and supervised many of these under the direction of the US Attorney’s Office and the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General. He was also assigned to the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) and spent time detailed to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (BATF), and the FBI.
During his tenure with EPPD, Captain Broadmeadow
was one of the first municipal officers authorized by the Department of the Attorney General to conduct Multi-jurisdictional Electronic Surveillance operations. He has testified in State and Federal Court as a court recognized expert in Electronic Surveillance.
Captain Broadmeadow served as the agency’s
representative on the National White Collar Crime Center and participated in and conducted training in Computer based crimes, Internet crimes, and other sophisticated investigative techniques. Captain Broadmeadow also setup and managed the police department’s computer network.
Upon his retirement in 1998 Captain Broadmeadow was hired
by a software development company specializing in software for Public Safety agencies, as Manager of Customer Support. In 1999, promoted to Vice President of Customer Solutions, he assumed
overall responsibility for Customer Support, Sales Support, and post-sales activities of the company.
As VP of Customer Solutions Joe selected and
implemented a CRM solution for improving overall Customer Support and improving overall internal exchange of information. Joe also designed and managed the corporate web site and use of the Internet in day-to-day operations leading to improving performance, reducing costs, and improving security. Joe developed and deployed the corporate security policy and devised a routine review process for continuous security review and refinement.
Dan Morrison, Managing Partner
Dan Morrison served for 25 years with the Rhode Island State
Police retiring with the rank of Lieutenant. Lieutenant Morrison served in the Uniform,
Detective and Narcotics divisions and retired as the Night Patrol Commander responsible for all Uniform Patrol Units throughout the State of Rhode Island. As a member of the Detective Division, Lieutenant Morrison was responsible for investigating all levels of criminal activity including white collar and fraud.
Lieutenant Morrison worked on several investigations
involving the use of Electronic Surveillance. It was during these investigations the Lieutenant Morrison and Captain Broadmeadow became acquainted.
Upon retiring from the State Police Lieutenant
Morrison was hired by a Fortune 500 company as a Supervisor in the Corporate Protection Division. Lieutenant Morrison was responsible for the overall security of executives and assigned directly to the CEO.
